Just like real horse racing, you can research the standings of jockeys, trainers, horses, and conditions in order to make your selection.
Checking Form
You don't have to solely rely on the odds — Virtual Derby includes extensive information to help you make informed bets. When you first log in to Virtual Derby, the main window opens to display the list of runners and the Win Only tab. Click the Info arrow to the right of each runner's name to display the Info tab. The Info tab is arranged in five sections that display information on:
- The horse's previous race position, owner, speed rating, jockey, and trainer.
- A brief commentary on the horse itself.
- The jockey and trainer form for their numbers of races, wins, and second placings.
- The jockey, going, and placing of the horse's last five races, in descending order.
- A trend graph of the horse's last five races (the height of the bar indicates the placing, with the highest bar indicating first place and the lowest bar indicating last place).
Once you've made your decision, click the Win Only and Exacta tabs to place your bets.
Placing your bets:
Virtual Derby offers two types of bets: Win Only and Exacta.
Win Only — If the horse you bet to finish first passes the post first, you'll win the odds for that bet.
Exacta — If the horses you bet to finish first and second pass the post in that order, you'll win the odds for that bet.
To place a Win Only bet:
- Click the Win Only tab.
- Determine which horse you want to bet will finish first.
- Enter your stake in the field provided.
- You may bet on multiple horses. Repeat the process to make any additional bets.
- Click 'Add to Bet Slip' to place your bet. The Bet Slip tab is displayed so you can review your bet(s).
- To remove a bet, click the X icon to the right of the bet.
- To confirm your bet(s) and start the race, click 'Submit Bets' and 'View Race'.
To place an Exacta bet:
- Click the Exacta tab.
- Enter your stake in the field provided.
- Determine which horse you want to bet will finish first by choosing a horse (1-6) from the left-hand column.
- Determine which horse you want to bet will finish second by choosing a horse (1-6) from the top row.
- Click the box that intersects the two choices (where the row and column meet); a red ring appears around the box.
- Repeat the process to make any additional bets.
- Click 'Add to Bet Slip' to place your bet. The Bet Slip tab is displayed so you can review your bet(s).
- To remove a bet, click the X icon to the right of the bet.
- To confirm your bet(s) and start the race, click 'Submit Bets' and 'View Race'.
Rules
Your stake cannot be altered during a game.
Results
At the end of each race, the Virtual Derby updates to display the race results and photo finish for first and second place. If you had a winning bet, your winnings total is displayed. The amount is posted to your account.

Our Rights: eBets.com reserves the right to change the casino settings and payouts without any forewarning to the customers at any given time.
Progressive Obligations : In the event of a customer winning in excess of $50,000 on a progressive jackpot in any of the casino games where it is offered, customer agrees to have their picture taken while receiving a check from one of our representatives and gives eBets.com the exclusive right to use the photo material at it's own discretion. The weekly limit on winnings of $100,000 does not apply to progressive jackpot winnings.
Disputes: For general casino disputes we provide a record that contains the bet amount, running balance, game type, Round ID and time for each single casino round only. Every casino round has a unique Round ID and customers should provide it in their casino claim. Due to technology constraints we can only provide the customer with the card/number/dice details and outcomes for a limited number of casino rounds only (25 rounds maximum). If a unique Round ID or exact time for a particular casino round is not provided by the customer we cannot guarantee the funds will be reimbursed.
Bonus Money: All bonus money unless otherwise specified is subject to minimum play before any withdraw can be made. The minimum combined sportsbook and/or casino betting activity must total at least twice the amount of the deposit plus the bonus (example: if one deposits $500, they must simply make wagers totaling $1100 before they can withdraw the $50 bonus). If a customer requests a payment of any amount before they have had fulfilled the minimum wagering requirement, the bonus will not be valid and will be deducted before any withdraw is processed. There is no limit as to the size of the bonus.
Wagering in Craps, PaiGow and Sic Bo games does not count towards any bonus rollover requirements and eBets.com shall make all decisions with regard to the application and retention of bonuses
10% Casino Rebate: Casino rebate will be credited against the total amount lost in the casino over the duration of the special. For example, if the rebate special is for three days, and in day #1 you lose $300, and in day #2 you lose $400, and day #3 you win $200, the total amount lost would be $500, and the rebate would be 10% of that amount. This special does not apply to any sportsbook wagers. Rebates will be credited to accounts within 48 hours of the end of the special. Bet volume must equal both at least $100 and 20 individual wagers to qualify for rebate. Minimum rebate $1 (we will round up), maximum rebate $250. All rebate money is subject to our normal bonus policy. This special does not apply to action/losses in the sportsbook.
